So many business books read like a rehash of a boring seminar and this is no exception. Must be able to speak forthrightly in evaluating others, if not, evaluation is worthless. It tells people what in the organization is valued and recognized.

Reading this book literally slapped that thought out of my head and replaced it with "execution". To do so, you have to use all channels of reference checking, contact people that know your candidates closely.
